Ultrasonic inspection system for train wheels incorporating brake discs
This paper presents the design and operational results of an ultrasonic inspection system specifically designed to detect, in a reliable and repetitive way, independent of operator skills, the cracks that may develop in train wheels around the brake disk mounting drill-holes.
