TIMM-7 was the seventh of this series of biennial international meetings for physicians and scientists with interests in medical mycology. Delegates heard expert presentations on a range of topics, but antifungal drug resistance was a key concern for the meeting in light of the threat posed to the health and survival of seriously ill, immunocompromized patients.
