New findings linking psychiatric illness, diabetes and skin conditions
A recent epidemiological survey of hospitalised psychiatric patients in The Netherlands (Mookhoek et al, 2010a) provides us with one of the first examinations of dermatological problems of this type. The results highlighted considerable prevalence of skin disorders across a range of psychiatric diagnoses.
