A New Dynamical Conception of Physical Objects and Their Interactions

In this paper we propose a new dynamical conception of physical objects and of their aggregative behavior as manifested on all scales of observation. This conception was suggested by the discovery of a novel form of nonlinear coupling between oscillating systems of differing frequencies, characterized by the emergence of discrete, “quantized” arrays of stable regimes of interaction. We provide a short summary of results concerning this Macroscopic Quantization Effect (MQE), and draw attention to the “participatory-generative” nature of the so-called argumental couplings giving rise to the MQE. On this basis we outline a general conception of physical objects as stable or quasi-stable modes or regimes of dynamic processes, in which interactions among any given set of dynamic objects can give rise to an entire hierarchy of new objects in which the original objects participate. We note parallels between our conceptual approach and the Nonlinear Quantum Physics developed by José Croca and his group.
