In this paper an ultra low voltage and low power amplifier for biomedical applications is proposed. It is based on a 2-stages fully-differential highly symmetrical CMOS amplifier and it exhibits high linearity, low noise and low susceptibility to Electromagnetic Interferences. At 0.5 V supply it has a gain of 43 dB, a CMRR of 118 dB, a GBW of 370 kHz and a power consumption of 2 μW. It is designed in UMC 180 nm technology, using regular threshold transistors.
