Sprayed Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 Solar Cells with Controlled S/(S+Se) Ratio
We fabricated Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 absorber layers with different S/(S+Se) ratios using spray pyrolysis and post sulfo-selenization. We found that the band gap was controlled by varying the S/(S+Se) ratio during the sulfo-selenization process. This was confirmed by Raman and UV-Vis spectroscopy. We fabricated solar cells and characterized their properties. The best cell efficiency was 3.62% when S/(S+Se) = 0.46. The external quantum efficiency result also showed that the CZTSSe absorber was well-grown with a designed optical band gap.
