Capacity Estimation and Cascade Utilization Method of Retired Lithium Ion Batteries

For the better vehicles performances, it is necessary to estimate the capacity of vehicle retired ion power battery and research the echelon screening method. Thus, in this paper, a fast capacity estimation method based on neural network model is proposed to solve the problems of time consuming and cost saving for a large number of retired batteries in the process of capacity test. After studying the principles and methods of group selection of the retired battery, the unqualified batteries are removed from the screen. With the application of energy storage system requirements and battery box voltage capacity, a new battery group is formed. It forms a storage system and can be used for the development and cascade utilization.
