In this study a coil type Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna was fabricated using reverse offset printing technology and its printing characteristics were analyzed. The fabrication of NFC antennas using the printing technology has an advantage of fabricating antennas through a single printing process. Also, it shows advantages in easy fabrication and cost saving compared to conventional antenna fabrication processes. An EM simulation using FEM was implemented for designing and fabricating an optimal printed NFC coil antenna. Then, a printing experiment was performed for the optimally designed NFC coil antenna using a reverse offset printing system and its printing characteristics were analyzed.
