Ultrasound Image Segmentation Based on Energy Functional
The automated segmentation of ultrasound image is very important aspects in ultrasonic medical diagnosis, and medical ultrasound image segmentation has been widely concerned. It is difficult to segment ultrasonic image because of its poor quality. The simple image segmentation method
can not obtain the correct segmentation results due to low contrast and weak boundaries between tissues and organs. It is difficult to segment ultrasonic image because of its poor quality. There is a bottleneck to ultrasound diagnostic techniques in clinical applications. Many image segmentation
methods have limitations, so the research of medical image segmentation still has long way to go. Study on image segmentation method to improve medical image analysis in the late has positive significance. In this paper, we introduce segmentation method based on the energy function and give
a comprehensive summary about the present situation of the related research. In the ultrasound image segmentation area, we introduce the geometric active contour segmentation model and graph cut segmentation model. On this basis, we break these two kinds of technology into a number of research
directions in order to further discussion.
