UAV—Unmanned aerial vehicle became so prevalent in recent days and the application offered by Drone technology are numerous in the field of agriculture, damage assessment, smart Transportations, Weaponry and so on. The availability of policies and communication perspectives are often mostly exposed and susceptible to various outbreaks in the field of any application domains. We proposed a comprehensive architecture for understanding the core layers of UAV’s and we have provided a detailed analysis on various types of drones and its applications prior to related fortunes in drone science and technology. The known/unknown factors which are influencing and threatening the implementation of drone technological modernization has been clarified with relevant case studies. We also provided a generalized threat and security architectural model for implementation and deployment of drones seamlessly. The scope of this paper extends up to the necessity of precautions to be carried out for domain specific solutions.
