Objective: This paper tries to improve the construction mode of student-teacher communication platform and its application effect in the track and field (T&F) web course in physical education (PE). Methods: The research methodology included literature study, expert interview, system design method, software programming method, questionnaire survey and etc. Results: The results show that the effect of teacher-student communication mode is very obviously, the communication on the platform is not monotonous and has actual effects, the constructs, styles and colour of the platform are harmonious and coordinated, the navigation is clear, and the links are accurate and easy to operate. Conclusion: The Teacher-Student Communication Platform of track and field course features the settings of Member Class, Interactive Module Surface and Communication Form Module, whose modules have multiple functions and which helps teacher-student communication in realtime or non real-time. It is easy to set and reply to the relevant questions in the Interactive Area, which makes the operation simple and easy.
