Fungal Diversity of Rhizosphere Soil from 11 Varieties of Grapevines at Maturity Stage from Two Vineyards in China

The fungal communities and diversity in rhizosphere soil of healthy grape at maturity stage were investigated by method of metagenomic sequencing. The results demonstrated that the longer the planting year, the lower the corresponding richness and diversity of the fungal community in grapevine rhizosphere soil. Besides, the Ascomycota was the main fungi in the rhizosphere soil at Kefeng vineyard. However, the fungal communities in rhizosphere soil of different grape varieties were different at Zixuan vineyard: Dothideomycetes in Beibinghong, Sordariomycetes in Chablis Chardonnay, Leotiomycetes in Cabernet Sauvignon, and Eurotiomycetes in Zuoyouhong. Based on metagenomic analysis, the compositions of fungal community in rhizosphere soil of the grapes are depended on varieties themselves and related to the soil environments, and Pezizomycetes may act as one of the factors for the healthy growth of grapevine plant. These results will improve our understanding of soil fungal community for the further research basis for the development and utilization of microbial resources.
