Dehydrofluorinated of PVDF was synthesized with NaOH and DBU. Different fluorine contents of products were prepared by controlling the reacting time. The fluorine contents decrease as the dehydrofluorinated time increases by XPS characterization. There are C = C and C ≡ C conjugated bonds after dehydrofluorination reaction by IR characterization. The dielectric permittivity of dehydrofluorinated PVDF increases approximately 10 times than pure PVDF. The dielectric permittivity and electric conductive property are different for the two dehydrofluorination agents. The dielectric permittivity is well consistent with the electric conductive property.
