In this research paper, the effect of lattice strain on the Debye-Waller factors, Debye temperatures and particle size has been calculated by X-ray powder diffraction. The lattice strain in silver powder produced by ball milling method. The thermal properties of lattice strain, Debye-Waller factor and Debye temperatures have been determined from the half-widths and integrated intensities of the Bragg reflections. Debye-Waller factor is found to increase with the lattice strain. From the correlation between the strain and effective Debye-Waller factor have been estimated for silver.
