Analysis of Social Epidemic Phenomena on Social Media Using Social Physics Approach

We applied mathematical model of hit phenomenon which is the theory of social physics to analysis of writing of social media and analyzed social epidemic break and convergence. In that theory it is assumed that there are three factors to raise public interest of society: mass media influence, conversation with friends, and indirect information due to city rumors. An example social epidemic is hydrogen water or Pikotaro. Analysis of movies and music concerts is also given as an example.
