Arm Robot Prototype with Analog Servo Using Arduino Controller and Visual Basic 6.0
Advances in science and technology, particularly in the field of computers, electronics and mechanics, with the increasing use of robots have turned many processes from manual into automated which is reduce the human roles in some work. Recently, development in intelligent robotics
has gained great interest from many researchers either at universities or industries. In this research the robot consists of three main elements, namely mechanical or kinematic, electronics, and programming. A system to control the robot will be developed based on analog servo motor using
RAD Method. It focuses on designing an interface for communication, which acts as the motion control platform, between the robotic arms and Arduino micro controller. Arduino in this system receives the angle value and fed into the computer to be processed. By using an analog servo, which is
cheap, the cost for robotic arms can be reduced.
