Gestational trophoblastic neoplasm (GTN) is a rare spectrum of tumor with high cure rates due to recent advances in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. We aimed to investigate clinical and epidemiological characteristic of GTN patients in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Indonesia. Aretrospective analysis of data based on Indonesian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (INASGO) cancer registry and medical records of GTN patients admitted to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital during the period between January 2015 and December 2016 was conducted. Demographic characteristic, clinical presentation, and management method were studied. Of the 39 women studied, 27 (69.2%) were younger than 40 years old, with a median age of 34. Interval from index pregnancy to treatment was less than 4 months in 27 (69.2%) patients, with 30 (76.9%) prior molar gestation. Chief complaint was vaginal bleeding in 32 (82.1%) patients. Histopathological diagnosis was complete mole in 16 (41%) patients. Lung metastases was found in 8 patients (20.5%). Based on FIGO 2000 score, 31 (79.5%) had low-risk GTN and 8 (20.5%) had high-risk GTN. Single-agent and multi-agent chemotherapy was administered to 30 (76.9%) and 9 (23.1%) of patients, respectively. All patients underwent uterine curettage and 6 patients were given adjuvant hysterectomy. Low-risk GTN was four times more prevalent than high-risk GTN. One fourth of patients were given multi-agent chemotherapy. Six out of thirty-nine patients underwent adjuvant hysterectomy.
