The main purposes of this research are to study agriculturist participation and to analyse the factors that have an effect on pesticide reduction in Pomelo orchards, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province. Two hundred and eighty-two questionnaires were used to collect the information from three sub-districts-Bang Nang Li, Bang Khae and Suan Luang. The data was analysed using mean and standard deviation. The agriculturist focus groups were used to study the factors having an effect on using pesticides in pomelo orchards. The results showed that the level of participation of agriculturists to reduce pesticide and weed control chemicals in Amphawa District had an average value of 2.89 which is deemed a ‘medium level.’ The level of participant plans, as well as decision-making of farmers of orchards had an average value of 2.58.
