Query Optimization to Improve Performance in the Application of Human Resource Information System

An application system used in a company enables information process efficiently. Human Resource Information System (HRIS) application is used to facilitate the user in Payroll and Human Resources data processing of a company. However, it holds up the HRIS application performance when transaction process parallels with the increasing of data input by the user. After a thoroughly investigation from journal and book reference, HRIS need a query optimization for performance improvement. Some of the methods are Indexing and Compressing on the table as well as additional methods of rowlock or nolock. From the above methods mentioned, they were tested and analyzed using Apache JMeter application in which the best method to increase query performance. The results will be implemented to fix the problems in HRIS application.
