Role Modelling of Teachers Applying e-CLIP Model: A Case Study in Secondary Educational Service Area 39 Thailand

This study aimed to explore the role modelling of teachers in the application of digital literacy and content-based English. Digital literacy and content-based English are strongly associated with e-CLIP, an educational innovation in Thailand which stands for content and language integrated pedagogy via electronic communication. This study was administered in secondary educational service area 39 Thailand, particularly in Phitsanulok province. Seven purposively selected teachers from two distinct schools voluntarily participated in this study. The teachers were observed for one semester. Additionally, focus group interviews and in-depth interviews were conducted to dig further data. The collected data were then analyzed through content analysis. There was reduction done to select which data were important. After that, the data were categorized into several groups. The findings exposed the seven teachers’ varied integration of digital literacy and content-based English into instructional processes.
