Internet Usage Pattern in Entrepreneurship-Based XYZ IT Private University

The XYZ information technology (IT) private university has a target on making 20% of its alumni becoming entrepreneurs each year. One of the facilities of this campus is free of internet access. The campus provided a free WiFi internet access with a capacity of 8 MB for their students on their daily activities but in fact the free WiFi has given slowly response. This paper aimed at describing an internet usage pattern of students of the XYZ IT private university to know the behaviors of them in accessing Internet contents. The data was taken from 375 students of the XYZ IT private university through paper-based questionnaire and a response rate of 83% (n = 314). The university served a free Wi-Fi internet access with a capacity of 8 MB for their students on their daily activities. This paper revealed that 3.65% of the students had accessed social media such as Facebook, chatting, etc. and 3.31% many of them downloaded and played a video streaming of music/film/video, and 50.66% of the students stated efficient and economical reasons. They have accessed a free Wi-Fi internet access in this university using gadget and laptop. It was concluded that accessed social media and downloaded a music/film/video in campus most likely than educational, fun, and economic reasons were dominated by male students.
