As concern about IoT is increasing recently, various IoT services are being launched. Above all, smart home service is closely related to our daily life. Important thing in smart home service is security, especially authentication. If an unauthorized user accesses the smart home, it would cause serious invasion of personal privacy. This paper introduces ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman)-based 3PAKE Techniques, which provides authenticated Key exchange through home gateway using Password-based Authenticated Key Exchange (PAKE).
