An energy efficient thermal comfort control (EETCC) system has been proposed to improve residents’ thermal comfort by optimizing the energy consumption. Today, most of the research works related to the thermal comfort control deals with the theoretical study of the proposed algorithm. Furthermore, none of these research works considers the implementation of real testbed of smart homes using the cyber-physical systems approach. Thus, the EETCC system is implemented in this paper. We conduct both experiment and computer simulation to evaluate and verify the feasibility of our proposed EETCC system in the cyber-physical smart home systems.
