Barrier Factors That Influence Satisfaction of E-Learning: A Literature Study
The aim of this study is to identify some barrier factors when users do not satisfy if they are using e-learning to deliver and improve their knowledge. The literature review method has chosen by the author to conduct this research. By collecting some articles from reputable database journals such as Emerald, IEEExplore, Google Scholar and ProQuest, the author was using several keywords like “barrier factors of e-learning,” “satisfaction of e-learning” and “e-learning” its self to find suitable articles for this research, not only for papers which discussed e-learning, but also blended learning. To organize this research, PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) flowchart was used as a guideline to select suitable articles based on this research topic for systematic reviews. Compare with the QUOROM (quality of reporting of meta-analyses) method, this method eliminates the bias in the process of systematic review by providing some checklist items or flow diagram. Even though, for individual research needs some adjustments when reporting meta-analysis. The focus of this research is to find barrier factors from students, teachers and instructors and technology and technical supports perspective. Knowing the barrier factors of satisfaction of e-learning can be used as direction to improve e-learning services for e-learning system developers.
