Enhanced Global Score Test for Multivariate Survival Analysis of Recurrent Events Data
Multiple event times or endpoints often arise in survival data and this complicates analysis especially when all endpoints are of equal interest. However, to conclude on the overall treatment advantage of a new drug, a single statistic is required. The cumulative treatment advantage is often measured by the score statistic for each endpoint. This study is to enhance the methodology for combining multiple endpoints within a single statistical analysis. The correlations for three endpoints are determined and overall treatment advantage is evaluated. Comparison of the enhanced global score test method with that of the Wei, Lin and Weissfeld proves its suitability and adequacy as marginal model alternative solution.
