Malaysia is one of the fastest economically growing countries in Southeast Asia, together with the increasing interest in trade. In recent years the Ministry of Education of Malaysia proceeded to transform and reform its education system, and hand in hand with it to change the concept of universities from traditional research and educational institutions to universities collaborating with industry and encouraging their researchers in the approach in this direction. This is related to the introduction of rewarding inventors/originators founding centers of technology transfer service that cooperate and actively seek partners for cooperation in the commercial sector. Increased activity in the protection of intellectual property each of the universities has already enhanced this trend. Innovation, cooperation, communication–are synonymous and the main driving engines of local universities, ministries of education and of Management on all these levels in order to increase the competitiveness of these institutions, as well as the Malaysian economy.
