Creative Process of Monoprint into Mix Media Exploration

A monoprint is a creative experiment medium that is usually recognized through impression within medium and technique. The term monoprint refers to interchangeably medium into mix-media exploration. The reorganization of printmaking medium is always attached with the conventional technique such as intaglio, silkscreen, relief print and others. Therefore, this study is carried out to establish the certain appropriate monoprint character, in order to represent tradition elements within the creative visual art for this country. The challenge process for making selected composition of visual images follows several process. The first step, starts with painting the acrylic colors on canvas for the first layer and then transferring the plain linoleum with black color, later, the images are created accordingly. Then, the significant outcome from this experiment provides a new initiative within the creative process in making the artworks.
