It also involves considering the needs of the present as well as the needs of future generations. Integrated decision making and a long-term approach to planning are defining characteristics of sustainable development and represent the key management challenges. Identification of factors that increase the demand for sustainable events would greatly contribute to improve business services and generate the economy in the event industry. Thus, creating a competitive domestic economy by creating more green events using sustainability issues as the main attraction to increase the rate of attendance would help to boost business sustainability.
