Tri-Band Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) on Hybrid Material
The tri-band Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) design structure (4×4) is designed and simulated by using CST Microwave Studio software for 0.9 GHz, 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz based on GSM and ISM frequency band. The investigation has been done on the length of substrate (s), width
of substrate (w), length of square FSS (a), length of square FSS with slot (b) and length of stubs (u). Real (Re) and Imaginary (Im) component of EC or known as resistance and reactance has been modelled based on physical parameters of the design structure of the
FSS. The resistance and reactance of the impedance are depending on the geometry of the unit cell of FSS. The reflection (S11) and transmission (S21) of the design FSS structure is analyzed based on the six types of configuration that have been set up. Configuration 1 and 2 has the highest
percentage of the efficiency which is in the range of 92% to 98%.
