Biomechanics of Medial Meniscus Injury to Football Player During Instep Kick
This study will focus on the relationship between type of running with resultant force and angle of knee flexion during kicking action. The demographic data and consent form was taken from the subject. Anthropometric data had collected to determine the BMI of every subject. The subject will be asking to kick the ball several times. Each and every movement will be captured using Qualysis 3D camera and the data will be analyzed. The result shown that, the three-steps running technique produced the highest force acting on the knee joint. Meanwhile one-step and two-steps running technique give not much different on the resultant force. The highest resultant forces occur during 3 steps running technique with 1856.10 N and the lowest resultant force occur during 1 steps running technique with 668.04 N. There is positive and highly significant relation between type of running and the resultant force occurred at the knee joint (P < 0.005), while there are no significant relation between degree of knee flexion, type of kicking with resultant force and degree of knee flexion that occur to the supporting leg (P > 0.005).
