e-Learning System That Provides Personalized Adaptive Contents in Real-Time
As the role of the Internet extends from simple mailing or content-browsing to sophisticated personalized services, e-Learning becomes a perfect application for this extended role. Its main weakness, however, is its predefined contents for general learners. This paper proposes an e-Learning system where the learning contents are provided adaptively according to the learner's level and ability. For this, the system divides its contents into several levels and reconstructs them hierarchically. The proposed system employs a genetic algorithm with a classifier system. Employed with these functions, the system provides personalized learning contents adaptively. The proposed method will greatly enhance the quality and efficiency of learning for different levels of learners.
