This paper firstly presents the mathematical model of a novel cascaded wind power generation system. Typical model, working principles, optimized matching of this kind of electromechanical integrated system are found and concluded. Then its stability conditions are studied by means of its state space model and Lyapunov theorem. Finally, the validation simulation of whole system including cascaded wind system, vector control inverter and the grid is done. The study on the novel cascaded wind system offers theory and technique foundation for its application in variable speed constant frequency generator in the future.
