In the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), the sensor nodes usually operate on small batteries with restricted sources of energy. To maximum the energy efficient becomes primarily important in design such networks. In this paper an energy-efficient node selection strategy is proposed based on Virtual MIMO with limited feedback technology. It adjusts the number of nodes participating cooperative transmission according to the channel character between the data sensor nodes and sink node. Simulation result show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in energy saving.
