Research on Bandwidth-Adaptive Mean Shift Algorithm
With the rapid growth of China's economy, drug trafficking, smuggling, gambling and money laundering crime increased rapidly in the border, which threatened the security and social stability of China. Therefore, how to track the suspicious targets efficiently had become urgent needs to border forces. In the field of computer vision, vision tracking plays a crucial role as a preliminary step for high-level image processing. Mean shift is a non-parametric feature-space analysis technique, a so-called mode seeking algorithm. After discussing the application of Mean shift in the field of target tracking, this paper presented an improved Mean shift algorithm by using an adaptive bandwidth.
