An Adaption Algorithm Based on Dynamic Sleep Time in Wireless Network

Through study the algorithm of the wireless energy control which based on the same initial window algorithm, analyzes the business flow and the relationship between energy consumption and the average delay, and suggests an adaptive control algorithm which is proposed to improve the energy efficiency of MS mobile terminal. The adaptive algorithm can be according to different business flow information, dynamically adjust the mobile terminal into sleep mode of MS window size, so as to achieve the balance of the average sleep patterns bag time delay and the consumption of energy on average. Through the simulation to get results indicate that the algorithm is improved, and compare with the standard algorithm we found that the adaptive algorithm can save more energy in case of ensuring the need of delay, especially in low traffic, the improved adaptive algorithm is more superior than the standard algorithm.
