The Impact of Urbanization Process on the Environment
The environment is of great significance to the urbanization process. As a part of the urban complex giant system, the environment subsystem is the foundation and the source of development for city operation. Based on the data in Environmental Statistics Data between 2003 and 2009 released by National Bureau of Statistics, this paper starts from the load of city development to construct the bearing capacity in the urbanization process and measure the load status of environment on the city; on this base, it study the efforts in the regional environmental protection so as to evaluate the back feeding status of the city to the environment construction; it also measures the development level of the regional environment through its friendly development; finally, an overall assessment of the environmental condition is given based on the load, protection and friendship.
