The International Journal of Welsh Writing in English is the premier journal for up-to-date research on Welsh Literature in the English language, Welsh drama/performance in English, translation, cultural studies and related areas. The journal drives research agendas, maps out new fields, demonstrates the use of new methodologies and offers insightful, original readings, placing Welsh writing in English on an international stage.

We are extremely pleased to announce that the Open Library of Humanities has entered into a partnership with the University of Wales Press to convert the International Journal of Welsh Writing in English into a full, gold open-access journal. The journal will continue to be published by the University of Wales Press, and will be housed on the OLH's submission and presentation platform.

Mae'r International Journal of Welsh Writing in English yn gylchgrawn arloesol sy'n arddangos yr ymchwil diweddaraf ar lenyddiaeth o Gymru yn yr iaith Saesneg, gan ymestyn ei orwelion hefyd i drafod agweddau ar berfformio, cyfieithu ac astudiaethau diwylliannol. Dyma gylchgrawn sy'n torri tir newydd trwy gyfrwng y trafodaethau gwreiddiol a geir ynddi, ac sy'n darlunio'r tirlun deallusol yng nghyd-destun y meysydd ymchwil cyfredol ac arloesol. Amlygir y defnydd o fethodoleg newydd a chynigir deongliadau cyffrous sy'n gosod llenyddiaeth Saesneg-Gymreig ar lwyfan rhyngwladol.

Rydym yn hynod o falch i gyhoeddi bod Llyfrgell Agored y Dyniaethau wedi ffurfio partneriaeth gyda ni i drawsnewid International Journal of Welsh Writing in English yn gyfnodolyn mynediad agored aur. Bydd y cyfnodolyn yn parhau i gael ei gyhoeddi gan Wasg Prifysgol Cymru, gan gynnal safonau golygyddol a chynhyrchu uchel, i'w gyflwyno ar blatfform Llyfrgell Agored y Dyniaethau.
