The Journal of Religious History, Literature and Culture has consciously sought to adopt wide parameters for its interests: the history, literature and culture of religion. These parameters are not confined to any one period or to Wales or Christianity. The journal aims to provide coverage of those aspects of religious culture which illuminate and exemplify religious practice and ideas. The journal is issued twice a year, once as a regular form and once as a special themed issue.

Bwriad The Journal of Religious History, Literature and Culture yw meithrin gweledigaeth olygyddol eang o hanes, llenyddiaeth a diwylliant crefyddol, heb gyfyngu'n benodol ar y weledigaeth i unrhyw gyfnod hanesyddol na lleoliad daearyddol na ffydd grefyddol. Y gobaith yw cynnig adlewyrchiad lawn o'r hyn a geir yn enw'r cyfnodolyn, gan roi sylw i'r agweddau hynny ar ddiwylliant crefyddol sy'n taflu goleuni ar arferion a syniadau crefyddol.
