An unusual regal angelfish deviating from the typical color pattern was observed in the Northeastern Red Sea. This sighting indicates that bilateral aberrant patterns can also occur in the Red Sea, representing a formidable case of how viable individuals can display aberrant stripes in a coral reef fish.
