Description of the Female Lycaea nasuta Claus, 1879 with an Illustrated Key to the Species of Lycaea Dana, 1852 (Amphipoda, Hyperiidea)
The description of the female of Lycaea nasuta Claus, 1879 clarifies the validity of this species. Twelve other nominal species of the genus Lycaea which were previously synonymized with L. pulex are discussed. A total of eight species of Lycaea are considered valid, and an illustrated key to these species is provided.
