Single File Migrations of the Spiny Lobster, Panulirus argus (Latreille)
During the fall of 1961 and 1963, the authors made underwater observations of mass movements of the spiny lobster, Panulirus argus (Latreille). The extraordinary single file chains formed by these migrating lobsters and their unusual behavior is described. Other similar events in Florida and the Bahamas are reported.
