Alliumonoate: a new cyclopentane derivative from Allium victorialis
Alliumonoate (1), a new cyclopentane derivative, has been isolated from the chloroform-soluble fraction of the ethanolic extract of Allium victorialis, along with β-amyrin acetate (2), β-sitosterol acetate (3), 22-cyclohexyl-1-docosanol (4),
β-amyrin (5), β-sitosterol (6), and β-sitosterol 3-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (7), reported for the first time from this species. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data including mass spectra and 2D NMR experiments.
