Delivering results with GUSTO - Lifecourse studies on Asian women and children in Singapore
Associate Professor Yap-Seng Chong talks about his early-life project GUSTO, which has tracked a cohort of children in Singapore from prenatal development through childhood. GUSTO is a wide-ranging project investigating the effects of prenatal and early life influences on the development
and health of both mother and child. We have made substantive progress in enabling longitudinal tracking of growth and development, particularly in the metabolic and neurodevelopmental fields. This is complemented by molecular phenotyping and data analytics of both mother and child at time
points pertinent to key developmental milestones.
