Typification, taxonomy and distribution of Brachythecium erythrorrhizon Schimp. (Brachytheciaceae, Bryophyta) in the Mediterranean Region
The circumscription of the not very frequent Brachythecium erythrorrhizon in the Mediterranean area is discussed. New records from Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Iberian Peninsula are given. Furthermore a typification of the taxon as well as a complete description based on studied specimens is provided. An updated distribution in the study area is given.
