New combinations and new synonyms in Pilotrichaceae (Bryophyta)
While studying the taxonomy of Hookeriopsis (Besch.) A. Jaeger, twenty-two new synonyms with species of the genera Thamniopsis (Mitt.) M.Fleisch. and Trachyxiphium W.R.Buck as well as two new combinations, Thamniopsis diversifolia (Renauld & Cardot) Vaz-Imbassahy & Costa and Thamniopsis exigua (Mitt.) Vaz-Imbassahy & Costa, were recognized in the Pilotrichaceae.
