Notes about the relationship between discourse and materiality in the dramatic work of Brecht in the 20s. This contribution shows that specific 'event curves' in Brecht's work do not only portray the circumstances of 'being born into a cold town', but also those of the parting in the direction of a leaving of the world. That concerns the early drama Trommeln in der Nacht - which will be analyzed under the signature of post-colonialism - in the same way as Die Dreigroschenoper or Die heilige Johanna der Schlachth{\"o}fe. The point of departure is that the essential configurations are bound to an economic order of discourse and that this discourse leads to a poetology in the Heiligen Johanna, which refers to the functioning of the discourse as a materiality. In this respect the question about the practice of behavior within the world of the Brechtian theatre becomes relevant.", }
