Лирика Маяковского в «год великого перелома»: три текста
Leonid Bol’shukhin, Maria Alexandrova: Lyrics by Majakovskij in the “Year of the Great Breakthrough”: Three Texts
The article is dedicated to three major texts written by Majakovskij in 1929, the year preceding his death: “Razgovor s tovariščem Leninym” (“A Conversation with Comrade Lenin”), “Rasskaz Chrenova o Kuzneckstroe i o ljudjach Kuznecka” (“Chrenov’s Story about Kuzneckstroj and the People of Kuzneck”), and “Stichi o sovetskom pasporte” (“A Poem on the Soviet Passport”). The official literary criticism of the Soviet era regarded them as pieces of wellbehaved, exemplary Soviet poetry. Subsequently, they were perceived as tendentious, which continues to be the received view in contemporary criticism.
