From Fictional Videogame Stills to Time Travelling with Rosalind Brodsky, 19912005

Suzanne Treister was one of the first artists to appropriate videogame imagery and iconography to produce gallery-oriented artwork, and this paper describes the motivation behind this work as well as the context in which it was produced.
