Symptoms of Normality: Boundaries, Identity, And Symbolisation
A significant part of psychic suffering is connected to the contemporary sociocultural crisis. The impressive transformations that have taken place in recent decades have led to a different and more complex organisation of needs and of the social and emotional life. On the psychic level, a diminished capacity for symbolic representation and a profound disorientation in processes of subjectivation have been observed.
