With the continuous development of economies and the constant progress of society, corporate behaviour is no longer limited to the pursuit of economic interest, but gradually focuses on the realization of social benefits. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an important way for enterprises to establish contacts with stakeholders such as government, society and environment. The practice of corporate social responsibility reflects not only the maturity of enterprise development strategy, but also guarantees enterprises to achieve sustainable development. This paper analyses firstly the importance of CSR of Chinese enterprise in Africa through the description of the background, and reviews the history of the development of CSR in Africa, and summarizes the current situation of CSR of the oversea Chinese enterprises.
